Designing spaces for clarity, balance, and long-term human well-being, where architecture shapes human life.
Designing spaces for clarity, balance, and long-term human well-being, where architecture shapes human life.
SGL is a design practice focused on architecture, Vedic Vastu, and spatial psychology, integrating traditional spatial wisdom with contemporary architectural thinking.
Our approach studies how light, proportion, circulation, and orientation influence human behavior, emotional balance, and daily life within built environments.
Design is based on Architectural proportion, Vedic spatial principles, Human psychological comfort, Functional clarity, Long-term spatial value
Every project is developed through a structured process that aligns design, energy flow, and functional clarity.
We believe a building should quietly support the life within it.
Our design philosophy is rooted in the idea that space influences human behavior.
When architecture aligns proportion, orientation, light, and movement correctly, people experience greater comfort and stability within their environment.

Human-Centric Built Environment Strategist
Ar. Sukhmanmeet leads the design philosophy at SGL, focusing on the relationship between architecture, spatial energy, and human well-being.
Her work explores how traditional spatial knowledge systems such as Vedic Vastu can be interpreted within contemporary architecture to create environments that are psychologically balanced and functionally refined.
Through SGL, she aims to develop a practice where design decisions are guided by clarity, proportion, and human experience rather than temporary trends.
SGL is a Conscious Architecture practice founded on a single conviction: that built environments are not neutral. Every space either supports or depletes the human being within it, psychologically, biologically, and energetically. We design for the former. Always.
Our work operates at the intersection of five layers of intelligence that most architectural practices address in isolation, if at all. At SGL, they are practiced simultaneously, as a unified design language:
The human mind, how space programs the brain, the nervous system, behavior, and emotion. The senses, how light, sound, material, temperature, and air quality act on the body before the conscious mind forms a single thought. The natural world, why the biological human needs living systems, daylight, water, and organic pattern within the built environment. Lived experience, what produces atmosphere, memory, and the feeling of genuine presence in a space. And physics, the measurable forces of light, thermal dynamics, acoustics, and proportion that make all of the above not philosophy, but science.
This is not green building. This is not sustainable design in the conventional sense. This is something more complete, architecture that knows what it does to a person, and designs accordingly.
We work at the intersection of spatial intelligence, sensory neuroscience, Vedic physics, and human wellness, designing environments that do not merely shelter, but actively support psychological calm, biological health, and generational well-being.

Concious Architecture Practitioner
Spatial Psychology Specialist
She is an Architect, Conscious Architecture practitioner, a spatial psychology expert and Human-Centric Built Environment Strategist, and the Founder & Design Director of SGL.
Her intellectual framework bridges five disciplines that conventional architecture keeps separate: architectural proportion and spatial physics, Vedic spatial science, environmental psychology, sensory neuroscience, and phenomenology. In her practice, these are not separate modules, they are one integrated act of design.
She works from the conviction that the autonomic nervous system is the most honest critic of any space. A room that activates parasympathetic calm, in which the body shifts from vigilance into recovery, is a room that is working. Everything else is decoration.
Rather than designing for trends, she designs for longevity. Rather than designing for display, she designs for feeling. Her spaces do not announce themselves. They hold you.
Renowned for her unparalleled creativity, Sukhman excels in both contemporary and traditional building plan and interior design, seamlessly blending innovation with timeless elegance. Distinguished for her exceptionally innovative and sophisticated interior design, she effortlessly merges avant-garde concepts with timeless allure, placing her at the pinnacle of her peer group. Notably, her expertise extends beyond mere design, as she seamlessly incorporates Vastu principles, infusing harmony and balance into every project. Her architectural planning reflects a meticulous approach, ensuring optimal functionality alongside aesthetic brilliance. This holistic perspective distinguishes her as a luminary in the field, where her multifaceted skills and commitment to Vastu-guided design redefine the boundaries of interior excellence.
